Senior Living ------------

  • 1:1s and small groups
  • Ideal availability would be sometime M-F and between the hours of 9a-2p
  • Continuing Education opportunities available

Founded in 1998, FOX was the FIRST private practice in the country to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population. The Fitness Specialist opportunity entails the following:

  • Patient continuity: Patients are prescribed exercise programs to maintain functional levels after discharge from rehabilitation services.
  • Excellent support system: Fox provides significant support for our Fitness Specialists through leadership, clinical education, and an assigned Program Manager.

Requirements ------------

  • Must have one of the following: ​​​​Bachelors in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology; Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred (i.e., ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA); or prior experience as a fitness trainer, with willingness to become a Certified Personal Trainer

Routine travel to patient residences and between Senior Living Communities. Expand territory as needed. Travel as needed per practice requirements.

CPR Certification ----------------

Previous experience working with older adults in a proactive and wellness setting preferred. Basic computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
