JOB SUMMARY

Assess member’s lifestyle, posture and movement patterns to help them in putting together a plan to reach their physical goals.  Develop truly personalized exercise prescriptions based on member’s assessment, goals, and demonstrated ability.  Lead group exercise classes, teach proper exercise technique to members, answer health and fitness questions, and assist with floor coverage and cleaning.  One-on-one or small group personal training is encouraged during appropriate times on shift or as overtime.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  Minimum BS degree in Exercise Science or related field.

Licensure:  CPR certified.  NCCA accredited or NBFE affiliated personal trainer certification preferred.

Experience:  None required beyond degree (on the job training is provided).

Skills:             Must possess excellent verbal communication skills, ability to interact with people of all ages, public speaking, and clinical exercise testing skills.
