FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Contingent Upon Funding: Not Applicable

Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

If Not a Standard Work Schedule:

Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly reconciliations of grant, scholarship, and gift accounts

  • Obtain and submit expense supporting documentation for grant billings
  • Prepare and distribute monthly grant activity reports to Principal Investigators and college administrators
  • Process electronic labor distributions, labor personnel action forms, journal vouchers, and purchase requisitions on grant indices
  • Monitor grant expenditures to ensure purchases and travel are completed on time and funds are spent in accordance with award budgets
  • Assist the Grant Accountant with year-end processes, including closing out grants and submitting final expenditure reports
  • Reconcile PCards for departments, confirming all required documentation is included
  • Process travel authorizations and reimbursements.
  • Assist departments with fiscal compliance, communications, and PCard and AggieMart training
  • Work within Excel, COGNOS, EPrint, and the Aggie Service Desk

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

High School diploma + 3 years of relevant experience or an Associate's

Degree + 1 year of relevant experience.
