The Construction Contract Administration team in the CFO division is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support financial operations for construction projects in a time-limited TEAMs position. In this role, you will manage day-to-day transaction processing in the myUFL system, including purchase orders, invoices, and payment applications, while ensuring accuracy and proper approvals. Serving as a key liaison for construction teams, you will help coordinate approvals and maintain timely processing of fee developer project transactions. You will also play an important role in data management by translating financial information across systems into clear reports, supporting audits, and assisting with budget monitoring. Additional responsibilities include providing departmental support, documenting financial processes, and contributing to special projects. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Please note, this is a time-limited position.
Classification Title:

Fiscal Assistant II-Time Limited 

Classification Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of general accounts transaction experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for required experience.

Job Description:

Financial Transaction Processing:

  • Process and review daily financial transactions for construction projects in myUFL, including purchase orders, invoices, and payment applications
  • Verify accuracy of transactions and ensure all required approvals are in place before processing
  • Serve as primary point of contact for construction teams on transaction processing for fee developer projects
  • Coordinate approvals with Planning, Design, and Construction and monitor for timely completion

 

Data Management & Reporting:

  •  
  • Compile and translate construction financial data from multiple systems into clear, consolidated reports
  • Collaborate with Finance & Accounting, campus partners, and stakeholders to support reporting and data needs
  • Assist with audit preparation, research, and documentation requests
  • Support project teams in monitoring construction budgets and expenditures
  • Provide analytical, financial, and compliance support to the department

 

Departmental Assistance:

  • Assist departmental leadership with administrative and operational tasks as needed

 

Process Documentation & Improvement:

  • Review and document financial processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement solutions across teams

 

Special Projects:

  • Other duties as assigned by the department leadership
Expected Salary:

$20.11 - $22.51 per Hour
