Duties and responsibilities include:
- Fertilizing, planting, cultivating, and harvesting row crops and
non-row crops such as vegetables and berries.
- Clean, repair, build, and maintain farm buildings.
- Operate farm machinery and implements such as tractors, mowers, and
other farm equipment, and machinery to spray fruits and haul grain
to the elevator.
- Manage, chore, load, and unload livestock.
- Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using
conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, or transfer augers, and hauling
fruits to locations for sale.
- In charge of training, directing and monitoring the activities of
work crews engaged in planting, weeding, or harvesting activities.
