Background Investigation, Electrical Wiring, Electricity, Identify Issues, Motor Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Three Phase Power
ATSS has a client in Bayou La Batre looking for First Class Marine Electricians.
Pay: $30.93
Work/ shift is 4 x 10's. Monday - Thursday 5:00am CST to 3:30pm CST. Some overtime is anticipated.
Must be able to pass a Drug Screen, Physical and Background Check once an offer is made.
Electricians are an integral piece of their work on a daily basis. Some of your daily functions will include:
- Distinguish colors on Multi-Conductor Cable and understand color codes.
- Connect Single Phase and Three Phase Motors
- Can connect Single and Three Phase Transformers
- Knows proper operation of ABT and MBT
- Can work with all voltages in AC Power Distribution up to 1000Volts.
- Know how to parallel circuitry in both AC and DC
- Knows how to connect Generators, check phase rotation of Generator, and parallel Generators.
- Knows how to change rotation on a three-phase motor.
- Knows proper sizes of Motor Starters (NEMA Ratings)
- Can check amp draw on equipment.
- Can trouble shoot wiring and equipment.
- Can troubleshoot MSLC and DSLC circuits.
- Terminate sand understand PLC Circuits and Motor controllers.
If you have at least 5 years’ experience as a marine electrician, possess a High School Diploma or GED and fundamental knowledge in marine electrical systems, we want to talk to you!
