Job Description:

We are seeking a Firmware Engineer to join a Datacenter Firmware team focused on developing next-generation server platform BIOS solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying firmware for x86 server platforms while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality, and innovative firmware solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in BIOS development, system software, and firmware design with a passion for server technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on end-to-end firmware development, integration, and implementation.
• Design and develop platform BIOS solutions based on silicon and hardware platform features.
• Develop scalable, high-quality firmware using C and x86 Assembly.
• Participate in debugging, validation, and issue triage throughout the product lifecycle.
• Work closely with silicon design, platform engineering, and validation teams to resolve system-level issues.
• Contribute to firmware architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions.
• Ensure firmware quality, scalability, and timely delivery.
• Communicate technical risks, issues, and progress to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of firmware development processes and methodologies.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in BIOS, firmware, or system software development.
• Strong understanding of x86 system architecture.
• Experience developing firmware for server platforms.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with server BIOS architecture and industry standards.
