Fire Systems Project Manager – Fire Alarm / Detection / Suppression Systems<\/span>

We are seeking a Fire Systems Project Manager to support large -scale construction and infrastructure projects focused on fire alarm, detection, suppression, and life safety systems across complex mission critical environments.<\/span>
<\/p>
This role will oversee fire protection scopes including fire alarms, detection systems, suppression systems, and associated fire protection plumbing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing fire/life safety projects within active construction environments while coordinating closely with field teams, subcontractors, engineers, and clients.<\/span>
<\/p>
Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/h2>- Manage the full lifecycle of fire protection and life safety projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout<\/span>
<\/li> - Oversee installation and coordination of:<\/span>
- Fire alarm systems<\/span>
<\/li> - Fire detection systems<\/span>
<\/li> - Fire suppression systems<\/span>
<\/li> - Sprinkler and fire protection piping systems<\/span>
<\/li> - Life safety infrastructure and related controls<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul><\/li> - Coordinate with clients, AHJs, subcontractors, engineers, vendors, and field personnel throughout project execution<\/span>
<\/li> - Manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders<\/span>
<\/li> - Ensure systems are installed in accordance with code requirements, project specifications, and safety standards<\/span>
<\/li> - Support testing, inspections, commissioning, and final turnover activities<\/span>
<\/li> - Coordinate closely with MEP, controls, electrical, and construction teams to maintain project schedules<\/span>
<\/li> - Identify and resolve technical and field -related issues proactively<\/span>
<\/li> - Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Qualifications<\/span>
<\/h2>- 5+ years of experience managing fire protection or fire systems projects<\/span>
<\/li> - Strong understanding of:<\/span>
- Fire alarm systems<\/span>
<\/li> - Detection and notification systems<\/span>
<\/li> - Fire suppression systems<\/span>
<\/li> - Sprinkler systems and fire protection plumbing<\/span>
<\/li> - Life safety codes and compliance requirements<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul><\/li> - Experience within commercial, industrial, mission -critical, or large infrastructure construction environments preferred<\/span>
<\/li> - Familiarity with NFPA standards and coordination with local AHJs<\/span>
<\/li> - Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and project scopes simultaneously<\/span>
<\/li> - Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills<\/span>
<\/li> - Experience with systems such as Simplex, Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, Honeywell, Victaulic, or similar platforms/products is preferred<\/span>
<\/li> - NICET certification is a plus<\/span>
<\/li> - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Preferred Backgrounds<\/span>

Candidates may come from fire protection contractors, life safety integrators, MEP contractors, or large -scale commercial and industrial construction projects with significant fire protection scopes.<\/span>
<\/p>
Experience supporting mission -critical facilities, <\/span>data centers, manufacturing plants, airports or healthcare environments is highly desirable.
