Position Overview
Mongiovi & Son is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Manager to lead our Fire Protection Service Division. This role is responsible for the overall financial and operational performance of the department, with a strong focus on leadership, growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and supervise fire sprinkler service technicians, inspectors, and dispatch staff
Oversee scheduling and coordination of inspections, maintenance, and repair work
Ensure all service jobs are properly quoted, scheduled, completed, and invoiced
Maintain compliance with NFPA codes, local regulations, and company standards
Review inspection reports and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field personnel
Order materials and ensure proper inventory control for all service jobs
Visit job sites to support operations, quality control, and customer relationships
Manage payroll submission and oversee daily service operations
Conduct regular team meetings to promote communication, accountability, and performance
Train, mentor, and develop field technicians and administrative staff
Ensure proper use of company software systems and service platforms
Monitor department performance, productivity, and profitability
Resolve customer and employee concerns in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with sales and project teams to support business growth
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry
Prior supervisory or management experience required
NICET Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
Strong knowledge of NFPA 25 required; familiarity with NFPA 13, 14, and 20 a plus
Proven leadership skills, including team building, training, and conflict resolution
Strong understanding of job costing, billing, and financial performance
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in service management software and reporting tools
Valid driver's license
