Embrace a consultative selling technique that includes the ability to analyze client needscommunicationappropriate solutions andfacilitatesales to closure.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish contact with prospective and qualified potential buyers of new commercial fire sprinkler systems and associated equipment.Determinecustomer needs by conducting site surveys and communicating effectively to educate the customer about International Fire Protection Inc.s capabilities.Create and conduct effective proposal presentationsidentifyingthe customers fire and life safety issues the effects of the problems and solutions offered - expected to be involved in the production ofaccurateprice quotations.Develop andmaintainan active proposal backlog to support the established sales plan.Develop andmaintainnew and existing customer relationships that meet or exceedtheirexpectations of a long-term partner.Support other International Fire Protection Inc.teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory.Mayprocure dispatchand bill service orders.Assistcustomers as neededand provide technical support as neededTrack jobs to completion assuring that all valid extras are quoted and closedWork with Administrative Assistant in aiding with the collection of invoices making sure they are currentKeep abreast of marketing opportunities through sales calls networking and other market related informationLead customer presentations lunch and learns and other relationship building meetingsComplete understanding of all International Fire Protection Inc. and Branch sales pricing worksheets and contract termsMeet the keyobjectivesof the annual commission plan.JOB QUALIFICATIONSExperience in the fire sprinkler mechanicalelectricor plumbing fieldrequiredExperience incommercialfire protection industry is a plusWilling to work together as a team with other departments and company locationsAbility to analyze assess and address customer needsActive listener with critical thinking and deductive reasoning skillsStrong working knowledge ofdifferent typesforfire sprinkler systems and system components.Strong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codesNFPA 101313R13D141720 2425.Viable local relationships with General ContractorsStrong prospecting skillsand provenability to close.Ability to grow market share and meet goalsWindows Excel Word Power Point and OutlookPossess proficient communication andinterpersonalskills.Valid State Driver LicenseWilling to pass a pre-employment drug test and background checkEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or general education degree GEDacollegedegreeisa plus.NICET Certification is a plus.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTDepending on the customers site noise level could be quiet as in a library or public office or moderate as in a business office with computers and light traffic.Mostly aphysicaldemanding role. Much of the daily demand is walking to conduct site surveys standing occasionally climbing ladders and comfort with working at heights.Occasionallifting upto40poundsFrequent visits to customer andconstructionsites may be indoors or outside.Compensation & BenefitsThis role will be based out of our Marion South Carolina branch.
