Position Summary:This is a part-time, second-shift position!
The Fire Extinguisher Recharge Technician works as part of a team under the supervision of the Recharge Suppression Manager to inspect, repair, test, and refill fire extinguishers and other pressure cylinders. The technician will ensure that all work is performed in compliance with NFPA-10 standards and company policies. The role requires physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain safety protocols in a warehouse and field environment.
During the first week of employment, the selected candidate will work daytime hours (approximately 7:30 AM–4:00 PM) for training and licensing purposes. Beginning in the second week of employment, the schedule will transition to a second-shift position, with hours starting at approximately 4:00 PM and totaling about 30 hours per week.
