A growing company is seeking a Fire Alarm / Sprinkler
Designer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work on life
safety systems with a company that is expanding and offers long-term
growth.
Position Overview:
- Design
fire alarm and/or sprinkler systems for commercial projects
- Prepare
layouts, drawings, and submittals using CAD software
- Ensure
designs meet NFPA codes and local regulations
- Coordinate
with project managers, field teams, and clients
- Support
project timelines from design through completion
Requirements:
- Experience
in fire alarm and/or sprinkler system design
- Proficiency
with AutoCAD or similar design software
- Knowledge
of NFPA standards and codes
- Strong
attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability
to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred:
- NICET
certification (Fire Alarm and/or Water-Based Systems)
- Experience
with permitting and submittals
