    Description

    Full-time fire alarm inspector role testing and inspecting commercial fire-alarm systems across the Denver metro area. You'll be working in schools, hospitals, government buildings, and commercial facilities, identifying deficiencies, monitoring fire-alarm panels, and coordinating directly with building owners and engineers. This is a customer-facing position with real career growth in front of it. The company is in the middle of a major multi-year project with a steady, predictable pipeline of work.

    What You'll Do:

    • Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings on a scheduled rotation
    • Inspect initiating devices like smoke detectors, heat detectors, and pull stations, plus notification appliances such as horns, strobes, and speakers
    • Monitor and operate fire-alarm control panels during testing
    • Identify and document deficiencies, code violations, and equipment failures found during inspections
    • Coordinate directly with building owners, engineers, and facility managers before, during, and after testing
    • Review inspection reports and initiate next steps such as repairs, retests, or follow-up service calls
    • Drive a company vehicle between job sites across the Denver metro area
    • Follow all company safety policies and NFPA inspection standards on every job


    Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
    • At least 1 year of relevant field service or customer service experience
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Experience in electronics, fire alarm/life safety, or building automation is a plus
