Finishing Line Production Technician, Building Materials

Step into the flow of production

Your shift starts with a quick safety huddle. The line hums to life, and you’re moving product with your crew—interior doors here, exterior siding there—keeping material staged, prepped, and finished so every piece meets our standards.

What your day looks like

• Load and unload materials onto active finishing lines with accuracy and care.
• Handle building products (interior doors and exterior siding) through each step of prep and finish.
• Perform surface prep including hand sanding and operating DA (dual action) sanders.
• Support coating/finishing processes and assist teammates wherever needed.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
• Follow quality checks so finished goods meet spec every time.

What you bring

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, physically active environment.
• Clear communication and a team-first mindset.
• Finishing or coatings exposure is a plus—but we’ll train motivated learners.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and work efficiently with the team.

Hands-on strengths that help you excel

• Experience with shipping and receiving workflows.
• Warehouse operations and material handling know-how.
• Mechanical assembly aptitude.

Tools and tech you’ll handle

• Material handling systems and forklifts.
• Power tools and belt sanders (including DA sanders).
