West Sound Workforce is assisting a custom cabinetry and architectural millwork company in Kingston, Washington with their search for a Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Installer. Reporting to the Shop Lead, the Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Installer role is ideal for a detail-oriented craftsperson who takes pride in precision and problem-solving. You’ll install custom cabinetry and architectural millwork on high-quality residential projects and contribute to fabricating components in the shop. Shift information
  • Monday – Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm
What you will do as Finish Carpenter/ Cabinet Installer:
  • Install custom cabinetry and architectural millwork with precision, including scribed-to-fit components
  • Fabricate and install board-and-batten, wall panels, trim, and other detailed woodworking elements
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and installation plans to ensure accurate execution
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain workflow, quality standards, and professional jobsite conduct
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in both shop and field settings
What we are looking for:
  • Proven experience in finish carpentry, cabinet installation, or custom millwork
  • Strong ability to scribe cabinetry and trim to irregular walls, floors, and ceilings
  • Experience fabricating and installing board-and-batten, wall panels, and detailed trim packages
  • Familiarity with shop equipment, cabinet assembly, and reading/interpreting technical drawings
  • Comfortable with basic digital tools (CAD/CAM workflows or Microsoft Office Suite) and precise measurements
  • Must have reliable transportation, personal hand tools, and the ability to lift 50–75 lbs safely on ladders, lifts, and job sites
