The chef opens the box. You're already halfway out the door, but you stick around for the reaction.

The Caviar Collective is a sister-founded, female-owned purveyor of fine caviar and roe. We supply chefs, restaurants, and private clients who care deeply about what they put on the plate. We're hiring a Fine Foods Delivery Specialist to be our face in the field across the East Bay and San Francisco the person our chef partners actually look forward to seeing.

This is not a drop-and-dash role. You'll know our chefs by name. You'll know which back door to use at which restaurant. You'll know that the line cook running expo at 4:45 doesn't have time for small talk, and that the chef de cuisine at 11 a.m. does. That instinct is the job.

When you're not on the road, you'll work alongside our Fulfillment Manager packing orders, building boxes, printing labels through ShipStation, keeping the shipping area dialed in.

What you'll actually do
  • Run efficient routes across the East Bay and SF using ShipDay, delivering caviar and roe with the care a perishable luxury product demands.
  • Build real relationships with our chef and restaurant partners. Bring their feedback back to the team. Notice what they need before they ask.
  • Become a product expert shelf life, storage, ordering windows. When a sous chef asks how long an opened tin holds, you answer without flinching.
  • Pack orders, build shipping boxes, print labels, and keep fulfillment running clean alongside the Fulfillment Manager.
  • Help track perishable and dry inventory. Keep the company van clean, fueled, and mechanically sound.
  • Handle the occasional airport pickup or operational curveball. Small team, real flexibility.
Who you are
  • You've worked in or around restaurants, catering, specialty food, wine, or hospitality or you haven't, but you've got the instincts.
  • You read a kitchen. You know when to talk and when to disappear.
  • You handle high-value, perishable product like it's yours. Because for the next forty minutes, it is.
  • Punctual is the floor. Reliable is the standard.
  • You like food. Specifically, you like good food enough to be curious about a thirty-gram tin that costs more than your phone.
  • You want to grow with a small team and take on more over time.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license, clean record, 3+ consecutive years of driving experience
  • Comfortable navigating the East Bay and San Francisco
  • Consent to DMV and background check
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stay active for up to 8 hours
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
