The Financial Support Specialist is a full-time, 12-month position supporting the Board of Education’s financial and administrative goals.
- Provides financial assistance, manages records, and maintains data under the Director of Finance’s supervision.
- Streamlines student activity accounts, monitors transactions, and assists with reconciliations of insurance and routine business operations.
- Supports assessments, grants, and administrative functions, offering backup support as needed.
Skills: Strong organization, communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, ALIO, QuickBooks, research skills, and ability to work independently.
Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred; minimum five years of relevant experience; success in time-sensitive environments.
Compensation: Salary aligned with the current secretaries’ contract; Grade 13; 1.0 FTE.
