Job Description

The core responsibilities of a Financial Specialist I / Medical Insurance Verifier are to support all aspects of financial reporting for all CSMCF entities as well as managed care activities. Responsible for pulling revenue and expense data for purposes of monthly standard reporting. This position will also help in putting together P&L to show monthly and annual trend compared to budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve data and manipulating it into presentable format
  • Analyzing trends
  • Researching variances from budget
  • Ad hoc reporting requests

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

Experience:

One (1) year of Financial Analysis required. One (1) year of work experience in the medical field, preferably in Finance/Accounting preferred.
