Position Overview: We are seeking a driven Investment Representative to join our established insurance and financial services office. This role requires a professional who is comfortable making outbound cold calls, developing new relationships, and maximizing financial opportunities within an existing property & casualty client base. This position blends prospecting, discovery, and advisory conversations with both individuals and small business owners.
Core Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Outreach
Make consistent outbound cold calls to generate new financial services opportunities
Proactively contact existing personal lines customers (auto, home, renters, umbrella)
Develop referral relationships through client conversations and community outreach
Build and manage a personal prospect pipeline
Household Financial Discovery
Conduct consultative conversations to uncover:
529 college savings plans
IRA and Roth IRA opportunities
401(k) rollovers from former employers
Asset consolidation and retirement planning needs
Educate clients on available solutions and schedule follow-up meetings
Small Business Financial Solutions
Call on small- to medium-sized business owners
Identify and develop opportunities for:
New or replacement 401(k) plans
SEP-IRA plans
Safe Harbor 401(k) plans
Coordinate plan implementation and ongoing service
Collaboration & Compliance
Partner with the agency owner and team to increase household and business penetration
Document activity, pipeline, and results in CRM systems
Adhere to all regulatory, licensing, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications:
Willingness and ability to make cold calls daily
Strong phone skills and confidence initiating conversations
Financial services, banking, insurance, or investment experience preferred
Life and Health License (or willingness to obtain)
Series 6, 63, and/or 65 (or willingness to obtain)
Organized, self-motivated, and goal-driven
Relationship-focused with a consultative approach
