In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and guide them through coverage options that provide long-term financial security and peace of mind. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative conversations, building lasting relationships, and making a meaningful impact through protection planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate customers on life and health insurance products.
- Conduct needs-based conversations to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate protection strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular follow-up
- Support customers through the application and underwriting process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
- Collaborate with the team to identify cross-sell opportunities within the existing book of business
- Maintain accurate documentation and stay compliant with insurance and financial regulations
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on products, industry trends, and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Life & Health license (required)
- Series 6/63/65, 7 and SIE licenses (willingness to obtain)
- Experience in life and/or health insurance sales or financial services
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to explain complex coverage options in a clear and relatable way
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a sales-driven environment
- Professional and trustworthy demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
