Job Description
The Financial Sales Manager oversees all financial operations and revenue-generating activities of the sports complex. This position ensures sound financial management, accurate reporting, and the achievement of revenue goals through membership sales, sponsorships, rentals, and events. The manager develops and implements strategies to increase profitability, improve operational efficiency, and maintain fiscal accountability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
- Develops, monitors, and manages annual operating budget.
- Prepares monthly financial statements, forecasts and variance analysis.
- Oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processes.
- Ensures to comply with financial policies and accounting requirements and maintains financial records that pertain to the complex.
- Plans and implements strategies to increase facility revenue through memberships, sponsorships, rentals, and programs; manages client relationships and marketing coordination.
- Prepares financial reports, forecasts, and cost recovery analyses; provides data-driven recommendations to management.
- Evaluate cost-saving measures and investment opportunities.
- Supervises assigned personnel; conducts performance evaluations; provides training leadership.
- Ensures compliance with municipal policies, purchasing regulations, and audit standards; assists with log-range financial planning and procedural improvements.
- Coordinates with city departments, vendors, and community partners, along with the Superintendent.
- Represents the complex in meetings and events.
- Performs related work as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited* college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or related fields.
- At least five (5) years of experience in finance, business administration, public administration, or related fields.
- Council of Higher Education Accreditation (C.H.E.A.)
Valid Licenses and Certifications
Required Licenses or Certifications:
- Valid Texas Driver License. If applicant holds an out-of-state license, a State of Texas Driver License must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
