Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Financial Reporting Manager for a stable long-time manufacturing client located in the Detroit area.
REQUIREMENTS of the Financial Reporting Manager role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting
5-7+ years of related experience
Knowledge of US GAAP ( IFRS experience preferred )
CPA Designation is preferred, along with previous Public Accounting firm experience
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Financial Reporting Manager
Partner with the corporate accounting team, finance team and the business units to support the consolidations and internal/external reporting process
Ensure the proper consolidation of the Company s financial information within consolidation software
Assists in month end closing procedures preparing analysis and information to support the financial closing process
Preparation of reporting packages
Work closely with the FP&A team to ensure Budgeting and Forecasting capability aligns with Closing & Reporting procedures
Perform certain financial adjustments / updates as needed, including adding new accounts, modifying account groupings, updating entity groupings, etc
