We are seeking a dynamic individual to support our senior management team in the Office of Budget Planning. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work on most days, with in-person collaboration on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Become a key player in analyzing and forecasting our financial performance, and drive impactful financial strategies for our university.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile position budget data and review funding worklist items.
• Produce comprehensive reports from various financial and budgeting systems.
• Support the annual and quarterly budget development and confirmation processes.
• Maintain and monitor long-range forecasting tools.
• Analyze financial trends and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Consult with university leadership to address funding issues.
• Lead analysis projects and potentially supervise other analysts.
• Collaborate with central support offices to resolve financial issues.
• Prepare special reports and presentation materials for executive review.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or management.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in leadership and team collaboration.
• Ability to interact with senior management levels.

Preferences

• Experience with SAP systems.
