The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager leads the College's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with senior leadership to enhance financial transparency, improve operational efficiency, and ensure alignment between financial resources and institutional priorities. The FP&A Manager plays a key role in strengthening financial accountability and advancing the College's long-term financial sustainability. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Budget: Create and manage the development of the College-wide budget, collaborating closely with the Controller, President's leadership team, Budget managers, and the VP of Finance. Provide ongoing analysis and reporting on budget attainment. Develop and deliver clear, actionable budget reports for senior leadership and department leaders. Lead the Internal Budget Committee ensuring that the views of representatives from across campus are captured. Manage the technical aspects of the budget within the College's ERP system. Provide education and training on budget methodology, process and system. Financial Analysis: Enhance and manage the College's forecasting model. Provide detailed forecasting reports with variance analysis. Lead scenario planning and financial modeling to support key institutional initiatives and long-term planning. Serve as a strategic partner to the VP of Finance and senior leadership. Develop models, metrics, reports, charts, and automated operational solutions where feasible. Develop and maintain the College's financial dashboard. Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data integrity. Translate financial data into actionable insights to support decision-making across the College. Additional Responsibilities: Participate on college committees providing business acumen. Assist with debt management supporting the Vice President of Finance during the capital financing process. Provide exemplary service to the role's stakeholders, including both internal and external constituents. All other duties as assigned
