Position Summary
The Financial Planning & Accounting Analyst provides financial analysis, business insights, budgeting support, and management reporting to support informed business decisions. The role partners with Accounting, FP&A, Sales, Operations, and executive leadership. Approximately 75% of the role is dedicated to FP&A and business analysis, while 25% supports the monthly close and general accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (75%)
Prepare recurring financial and operational reporting packages
Analyze monthly operating results and explain key trends and variances.
Support forecasting and annual budgeting.
Develop financial models and profitability analyses.
Prepare KPI dashboards and executive reporting.
Partner with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain on financial analysis.
Support ad hoc requests from the CFO, Controller, and FP&A.
Drive reporting automation and process improvements.
Accounting & Close Support (25%)
Prepare journal entries and month-end accruals.
Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain supporting schedules.
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
Compensation
The anticipated total compensation range for this position is between $62,040 and $77,550, which includes a base salary and an incentive bonus opportunity. Base compensation within this range is determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
