A growing company in the Thomasville, NC area is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced bookkeeping professional looking for flexible hours in a stable, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Process invoices, payments, and cash applications
Assist with monthly close and basic financial reporting
Support payroll processing and related recordkeeping
Prepare and file sales tax or other routine reports
Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
Strong understanding of AP, AR, and reconciliations
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity
Preferred Experience
Experience in a small to mid-sized business environment
Exposure to payroll or multi-functional accounting roles
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Schedule: Part-time (approximately 6-10 hours/week; flexible)

Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
