Job Summary
Responsible to Division of Academic Pediatrics and Business Manager for performing a variety of professional and administrative duties relative to the operation of the Department of Pediatrics including assisting and advising the Business Manager with strategic development, planning, and implementation of departmental goals; assisting the Business Manager in oversight and implementation in assurance that all administrative duties are accomplished; completing individual project assignments requiring assembling of data and drafting of documents and correspondence; serving as a liaison between the Department of Pediatrics, Finance and Administration, ETSU departments, external vendors, external sub-contractors, and ORSPA; provides budget management within the Department of Pediatrics; maintaining records; managing, maintaining, monitoring and reporting financial data; balancing budgets; and preparing and submitting requisitions using the Voyager system. The position is also responsible for collecting data, conducting financial analysis, and performing other related duties as assigned.
