The VISTA member will lead efforts to develop a trauma-informed financial empowerment program for survivors of domestic violence. Duties will include: researching financial literacy resources to identify topics for a 12-session curriculum; consulting experts in banking and financial management to define class content; developing surveys and feedback tools to evaluate program effectiveness; creating facilitator guides and position descriptions; identifying materials and resources needed for classes; develop position descriptions and training for facilitators or volunteers; and researching potential funding sources to support long-term program sustainability.
