Financial Data Specialist

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $22/hr (Depending on Experience)

• Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

• W2, Temp until October. Potential to turn permanent

 

ROLE IMPACT

Join a fast-paced insurance operations team as a Financial Data Specialist, playing a vital role in maintaining accuracy across client records and policy data. You'll serve as a key administrative resource, ensuring financial advisors receive the operational support needed to serve policyholders efficiently and accurately.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform high-volume data entry of insurance quotes, values, and customer information across multiple platforms

• Communicate with internal departments and field financial advisors regarding insurance submissions

• Export and manipulate Salesforce records in Excel for reporting and commission entry

• Accurately maintain and upload documentation in SharePoint for audit and compliance

• Work through an average of 60–70 records per day with a strong focus on detail and accuracy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have past financial experience

• 1+ year experience in data entry, administrative support, or related office role

• Prior exposure to insurance operations or strong interest in the insurance industry

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Must be able to pass background check, drug screen, clerical testing, and soft credit check

• Microsoft Word


PREFERRED SKILLS

• Prior experience in financial services or insurance support

• High attention to detail with low error tolerance
