Description
Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience in enterprise data engineering and cloud database architecture.
- Proficiency in Snowflake data platform design, dbt semantic layers, and dimensional data modeling.
- Experience with corporate accounting systems, financial operations, and asset management processes.
- Experience in migrating legacy Microsoft BI packages, including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS, to modern cloud stacks.
- Experience with cloud ingestion, automation, and transformation tooling including Fivetran, Databricks, and Python.
- Experience in constructing column-level data lineage, access controls, and SOX-compliant auditing frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build the end-to-end corporate finance cloud data warehouse natively on Snowflake.
- Lead the migration of legacy Microsoft SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS reporting packages to a modernized dbt stack.
- Build and govern data transformation models, defining certified canonical finance metrics within Power BI and Sigma.
- Direct a team of data and analytics engineers, allocating work and enforcing strict technical delivery standards.
- Oversee change data capture and schema drift ingestion pipelines utilizing Fivetran and API interfaces.
- Formulate AI-driven data quality monitoring workflows to detect anomalies and cross-system database disconnects.
- Partner with senior financial leadership and technology stakeholders to translate reporting objectives into durable data products.
