Responsibilities:

The Financial Crimes Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst assists in maintaining compliance with the credit union’s Customer Identification Program (CIP), Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Program, and Beneficial Ownership process under The Bank Secrecy Act. It supports daily operations related to all aspects of these Programs and processes, and complying with both The Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Board BSA Policies. The position performs sample reviews of CDD files for completeness, quality, and compliance. It also performs research related to the Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) aspects of the BSA Program. The position reviews business account documentation and information reviews to identify discrepancies that result in non-compliance and BSA Policy violations. It reports the issues to business unit and BSA management.
 
The Financial Crimes Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst performs high-risk account monitoring and documents Policy exceptions. The position works with business units to evaluate the specific risks associated with new and existing high-risk customers through customer due diligence reviews, suspicious activity reviews, and identifying related ownership interest. The Financial Crimes Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst  maintains the due diligence database to help ensure compliance with EDD and Beneficial Ownership requirements. Additionally, the role conducts all risk rating duties related to new consumer accounts. Finally, the position performs periodic monitoring of high-risk members and due diligence on high-risk accounts through anti-money laundering software and conducts complex investigations of high-risk members and businesses.

This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location.
