Overview We are seeking a highly organized and polished Technology Business Manager / COO Business Support Analyst to support the Equities Cash Technology organization. This role sits within the COO/Business Management function and serves as a key liaison between Technology leadership and centralized teams including Finance, Governance, Business Management, Procurement, and Operational Risk.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business support within a large enterprise environment, coupled with advanced Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. This individual will help drive financial transparency, resource planning, vendor oversight, executive reporting, and operational excellence across the technology organization.
Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Budget Management
Resource & Headcount Management
Manage technology resource planning activities, including:
Headcount forecasting and reconciliation.
Hiring requests and approval tracking.
Onboarding and offboarding coordination.
Contractor and contingent workforce management.
Mandatory training and compliance tracking.
Partner with development and functional managers to monitor resource allocations and utilization.
Vendor Management & Procurement
Reporting & Executive Communications
Governance & Operational Support
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a Business Management, COO, Finance Support, Technology Finance, or similar function.
Strong background supporting large enterprise technology organizations.
Proven experience with:
Financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Budgeting and forecasting.
Resource and headcount management.
Financial reporting and variance analysis.
Vendor management and procurement processes.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
Complex formulas and functions.
Pivot tables.
Data analysis and reconciliations.
Financial modeling.
Creation of charts and executive reporting materials.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint for executive presentations.
Experience producing executive-level reporting and interacting with senior stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with a delivery-focused mindset.
Collaborative team player with the ability to work across globally distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting a COO, Business Management, or Technology Finance function within financial services.
Exposure to Equities, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking Technology environments.
Experience with back-office operations or accounting process automation initiatives.
Dashboard creation and data visualization experience using:
Excel dashboards and charts,
Tableau, or
Similar reporting tools.
Working knowledge of SharePoint for workflow management, portals, and data repositories.
Familiarity with operational risk management, audit tracking, and governance processes.
