The role of Financial Analyst within the Finance Business Partner Department is crucial, as it serves as a co-pilot to the Finance Business Partner for US Hearing Aids - Wholesale.

The primary objective of this position is to provide precise and data-driven information regarding the company's profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. Additionally, the role aims to enhance financial efficiency by introducing new reporting and analysis processes, enabling more timely decision-making and improved business outcomes.

This position offers high visibility across the department, fostering increased business understanding and relationship building. As a Financial Analyst, you will collaborate closely with business partners, challenging assumptions, constructing financial models, organizing management reviews, and supporting various departmental projects.

Your analytical mindset will be crucial in analyzing and interpreting financial data, identifying potential business trends and issues. You will be expected to utilize your insights to effectively communicate important themes and messages to Company Leadership. Furthermore, you will contribute to projects and facilitate financial alignment to shape and execute strategic recommendations.

The Financial Analyst assumes responsibility for managing all assigned projects within their area of expertise, guided by their manager. In doing so, they support the department's initiatives and goals, ensuring a cohesive and coordinated approach to achieving success.

Responsibilities:
  • Support to US Hearing Aid (Wholesale) Finance Business Partner:
    • Assist in building complex financial models and developing financial projections.
    • Perform analyses and provide financial commentary on scheduled and ad hoc reporting.
    • Review and audit monthly commissions for field sales.
    • Aid in monthly close processes, including actual vs budget reviews and understanding key drivers of variances.
    • Provide monthly reporting and analysis of key financial metrics compared to budget, forecast, and prior year.
    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare financial reports.
    • Support long-range strategic financial planning.
    • Assess and communicate current and future business risks to stakeholders.
    • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives.
    • Increase productivity through the development of automated reporting and forecasting tools.
    • Perform special duties as requested by the Finance Business Partner.

 

  • Financial Consolidation and Reporting:
    • Participate in cross-functional teams and projects domestically and globally.
    • Build and prepare financial reports, (e.g., monthly, quarterly, and full-year results across the US Hearing Aids – Wholesale Franchise).
    • Analyze financial and business performance against metrics, highlighting key points for management.
    • Monitor and explain results against budget/forecasts, identifying opportunities and risks.
    • Collaborate with Finance and Sales teams to ensure coordination and alignment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum two years working in the Accounting/Finance field
  • Experience applying financial analytical techniques
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes (modeling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, etc.)
  • Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Understanding of data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to information requests from senior executives, stakeholders, cross functional business leaders, peers, and customers
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) & data visualization tools such as Power BI
    • Manipulation and creation of Pivot Tables and utilization of, Index/Match, X-Lookups, V-Lookups & Sum-Ifs.
  • Excellent analytical skills to analyze complex issues and to conceptualize new processes and techniques

    The pay range for this position is expected to be between $78,624 to $87,360 annual; however, while the salary range is effective as of the date of this posting, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as bonus, commissions, or discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
