Job Description:

Financial Analyst We are immediately hiring for a Financial Analyst in our Accounting Department in North Little Rock, AR. If your background includes Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, please apply!

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Ensure integrity of general ledger through continued evaluation and monitoring. Provide support to all departments by reporting, analyzing, and researching financial information that support corporate objectives and business decisions. Support the month end processes and analysis of financial information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure accuracy of GL and accounting objectives by coding and reviewing all expenditure activity. Maintain knowledge and support of all subsystems such as Cetaris, Purchase Management, Infinium and Workday to effectively communicate within the Accounting department, as well as, across company departments.
  •  Prepare, reconcile, and analyze monthly worksheets, reports, and investigate variances to validate the accuracy of the financial records. Maintain budgets and perform monthly analysis for adjustments as needed.
  • Perform monthly margin and financial statement review in order to understand and effectively communicate the changes and trends. Design reports and prepare analysis of information to support managements’ needs. 
  • Research, implement, and maintain software needed to meet financial and corporate objectives. Assist other departments with setup and use of these softwares and systems.
  • Help manage and track all fixed assets for both GAAP and tax through fixed asset reporting functions.  This will include assistance with the monthly depreciation, additions, disposals, and gain/loss journal entries.
  •  Prepare various tax returns including the highway use tax returns, CAT tax returns, property tax returns and various annual tax filings and registrations.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in appropriate training.  Ensure company confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or broad knowledge of a specialized field such as basic accounting, finance, business administration, etc., equal to four years of college, plus 3 years related experience and/or training.  Prior Workday experience is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, wherein there is controlled temperature and a low noise level, plus a minimum of distractions.
