A busy facility maintenance services company is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the team. This role will be responsible for providing financial analysis, budget support, forecasting, reporting and operational insights. This position will also serve as direct support to the CFO.

Salary + Additional Benefits:
  • $85,000-$90,000

Location: Houston, TX - 77024
Type of Position: Direct hire

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and executive presentations.
  • Support external audits by preparing requested schedules and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation and data analysis.
  • Ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and complies with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
  • Proactively scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and prioritizing commitments.
  • Screening emails and calls, acting as a liaison, and managing correspondence.
  • Drafting, editing, and formatting reports, memos, and presentations.
  • Organizing board meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and setting up technology.
  • Handling sensitive information with discretion and acting as the primary point of contact.


Requirements:
  • 2+ years of financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance
  • Experience working within a private equity environment strongly preferred
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Viewpoint Vista (or similar)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and complex formulas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
