Job Overview

The Financial Analyst is responsible for monitoring Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting activities and ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial reporting and management reports. 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor payables process with global shared services team
  • Co-ordinate with Vendors for open items
  • Review agreements and contracts and ensure payments are as per agreements and contracts
  • Review Inventory valuation and related COGS calculations
  • Project reporting and Asset capitalization
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly Closing and reporting of US entities as per Indian GAAP
  • Review B/S and P&L GL accounts and recommend corrective/ provision entries
  • Review B/S accounts schedules viz. Intercompany, Fixed Assets, provisions, and other assets/liabilities
  • Budget preparation and periodic variance reporting
  • Audit support and provide the required information and schedules for Audit and consolidation team.
  • Other MIS as per management requirements

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements

  • General computer proficiency and advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office applications 
  • Excellent record keeping and organizational skills
  • Must work well with others in a team-based environment
  • Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet accelerated timelines and manages priorities as necessary
  • Preferably with knowledge of ERP software, Oracle/SAP.
