Financial Analyst

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Decatur, GA (This role is onsite for the first 90 days in Decatur, GA)

Pay: $75,000-$85,000 / year

Benefits: The position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of business operations and accounting processes
• Monitor daily treasury activities, resolve issues, and refine reporting tools
• Partner with third-party service providers to account for debt, investments, and workers’ compensation activity
• Support key business decisions through analytical outputs and financial modeling
• Incorporate relevant financial and operational metrics into analysis and reporting
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting through cost-driver models and detailed revenue/expense reviews
• Track performance against financial targets and provide monthly and quarterly reports to leadership
• Compile consolidated headcount and salary data for budgeting and monthly review
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to reduce costs, grow revenue, and support strategic goals
• Assist with the administration and optimization of the budgeting and forecasting system
• Maintain budgeting templates, reports, dashboards, and resolve system issues as needed
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-4 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and treasury
• Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial management techniques
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Business Central or similar)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
