Job Description

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst to join our dedicated team at our headquarters in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.

In this role, you will support Financial Operations and Treasury functions with the primary tasks of analysis and reporting. You will also be responsible for helping manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for our international offices, as well as supporting project accountants with cost reporting, invoicing, etc. Additionally, you will work closely with the Director of Global Financial Operations, the Global Treasury Manager, and Senior Project Accountants to support our growing international financial operations.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounts payable for foreign offices (selecting subcontractor invoices, overhead invoices, and staff reimbursements according to our working capital guidelines).
  • Review and reports on all non-US accounts receivable.
  • Provide direct support to the Senior Project Accountant for invoicing, project setup, etc. of foreign projects.
  • Enter all international accounts payable, including subcontractor invoices, employee expenses, and overhead invoices.
  • Coordinate with the Global Treasury Manager to initiate all international payments, including obtaining banking information as required.
  • Assist with cash forecasting of all foreign offices.
  • Work with many different currencies.
  • Develop and issues reports to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of one or more project cost accounting systems such as Sage Timberline, Deltek, CGC, Oracle Projects, or CMIC.
