Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: $45.00 $48.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel; valid driver's license required.

Job Summary

This role supports multiple project managers concurrently across projects in various phases of design and construction. The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts, while serving as a primary point of contact for technical questions from project and construction staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with multiple project managers concurrently to support projects in various phases of design and construction.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain external and internal cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts.
  • Report accurate updates to cost reports or forecasts.
  • Perform baseline analysis to identify variances in budget and schedule.
  • Administer the change control process by tracking potential project risks, trends, and change orders.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables.
  • Hold weekly meetings and coordinate and communicate effectively with the team and clients.
  • Develop and implement appropriate project controls tools, templates, and systems.
  • Develop and maintain project estimates in accordance with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) account assignment.
  • Compare schedules to financial data to ensure consistency of project timelines.
  • Analyze project controls reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to the project controls team.
  • Ensure budget tracking against Open Commitments or Subcontracts.
  • Review upstream (prime contract) and downstream (purchase order & subcontract) change orders.
  • Manage integrated data from one program to another.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for technical questions from Assistant Project Managers (APMs), Project Managers (PMs), Lead Engineers, or Construction staff.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong ability to integrate schedule data and other financial tools via Excel formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically, and make quick, sound decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAP, Coupa, EcoSys, and Unifier is preferred.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration from an accredited program.

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
