JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position under the general direction of the Finance Director, is to provide support for a wide range of budgeting, capital assets, treasury and reporting functions. The Finance Operations Officer's duties include oversight of the budget and utility billing functions; coordinating assigned activities within the Department, with external stakeholders, and with other Town departments and divisions. This is accomplished by assisting in the management of department activities and services, coordinating work plans and personnel needs, preparing financial statements and assisting with various aspects of the Finance Departments vision, goals, and objectives. Core duties include managing cash, capital investments, debt management, and interfacing with other Town employees, citizens, and customers. This position provides direction to other employees.
