Location: This is a full-time, in-person role based in our Roseland, NJ office — a professional, collegial environment where the finance and leadership teams work closely together and cross-functional relationships matter.
Note: This role requires 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting with strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting skills. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment supporting senior leadership and attorneys. Candidates without relevant finance backgrounds will not be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Own monthly internal financial reporting and key metrics analysis — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all reporting outputs
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor actuals vs. budget, and provide clear variance analysis and insights to leadership
- Serve as the CFO's primary point of contact for day-to-day finance execution and follow-through
- Build and maintain financial models and internal reporting tools to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Coordinate with practice areas and internal departments to manage project timelines, track key deliverables, and ensure execution
- Prepare materials for partner and management meetings — translating financial data into clear, actionable insights
- Partner with Accounting to align financial reporting with operational needs and firm priorities
- Continuously improve reporting structures, workflows, and efficiency across the finance function
- Maintain consistent, organized reporting formats that leadership can rely on
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a related role
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience building and maintaining financial models
- Solid background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Experience with SurePoint or similar financial management systems preferred
- Familiarity with document management systems such as NetDocuments a plus
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment alongside attorneys and firm leadership
- Clear, practical communicator — written and verbal
