Finance Manager | High-Growth Industrial Services Platform (PE-Backed)
Location: Raleigh, NC ($120-130K)

We’re working with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed industrial services platform that’s looking to add a Finance Manager to support a key business unit. The company operates in high-demand sectors like pharma, life sciences, and data center infrastructure, and this role sits right in the middle of that growth.

This is a hands-on role embedded in the operations of the business, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with project teams and being directly involved in how financials drive decisions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage project and job cost accounting, including WIP schedules and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
  • Partner with operations and project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking, change orders, and margin visibility
  • Build and maintain job-level financial reporting to support profitability and performance analysis
  • Act as the primary finance partner to business unit leadership, providing insight into cost drivers and financial trends
  • Own monthly close, P&L management, and variance analysis for the business unit
  • Help implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies aligned with a PE-backed environment
  • Support and optimize ERP usage (NetSuite), ensuring data accuracy and reporting integrity

What they’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • Background in project-based environments (construction, industrial services, or similar) with exposure to job costing, WIP, and revenue recognition
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus) and strong Excel skills
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage competing priorities
