Finance Manager / Manager, Finance & Analytics
DeLand, FL - Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote) 

 

Position Summary

ARC Group is recruiting a Finance Manager on behalf of our client to lead a high-performing Finance and Analytics team supporting the organization’s Labs operations. This role is responsible for delivering actionable financial and operational insights through advanced analytics, financial modeling, and executive-level reporting. The Finance Manager partners closely with senior leadership, sales, and operations to drive profitability, improve performance, and support strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the DeLand-based accounting, financial reporting, and analytics team, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.

  • Develop presentation-ready financial and operational decks for senior leadership.

  • Gather, analyze, present, and explain key financial and operational metrics.

  • Build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to evaluate pricing, profitability, operational capacity, and performance.

  • Analyze business results and make data-driven recommendations to improve operational and financial outcomes.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities through variance analysis, scenario modeling, and ongoing performance monitoring.

  • Partner with sales and operations teams to provide financial insight, decision support, and ongoing analytical support.

  • Coordinate and review month-end close processes to ensure accuracy and data integrity.

  • Lead and support complex, cross-functional process improvement initiatives.

  • Prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects and ad hoc analytical requests.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of all analytical outputs and reporting.

  • Develop a strong understanding of internal user and customer needs and deploy analytics resources to deliver effective solutions.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • MBA, CPA, or Master of Accounting (preferred)

  • Minimum of 2 years of people management experience

  • Extensive experience with financial systems, analytics, and financial reporting

  • Strong business process analysis and data analytics skills

  • Proven ability to build complex financial models related to pricing, profitability, and operations

  • Proficiency with report-writing tools such as Cognos or Crystal Reports

  • Intermediate SQL query writing skills

  • Working knowledge of relational database concepts

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Six Sigma training or experience is a plus
