The Finance Data & Insights Team is an agile product team responsible for the development, production, and transformation of Financial data and reporting across Consumer and Community Banking (CCB). As a Data Domain Architect Lead in the CCB Finance Data & Insights Team, you will partner closely with Controllers, Basel Measurement & Analytics (BM&A), Planning & Analysis (P&A), and Technology/MIS to deliver accurate, timely, and well-controlled financial data outcomes. You will identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and utilize modern automation tools, and partner with our Information Technology partners for system enhancements.
You will play a key role in modernizing the data environment supporting Finance Data & Insights (FDI) deliverables within the Risk Weighted Assets Actuals process, streamlining data consumption and outputs as processes transition from legacy platforms to modernized solutions. In parallel, you will support the team's business-as-usual execution across the Risk Weighted Assets, CCAR, and Earnings/Press Release cycles, ensuring results align to requirements and expected outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
Contribute to the transformation and modernization of our data environment to serve the analytical and reporting needs of the Risk Weighted Assets Actuals reporting function
Execute and take ownership of operational processes with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness of meeting deliverables on prescribed timetables / calendars
Identify hidden problems and patterns in data proactively and use those insights to drive process improvements
Motivate and coach a highly skilled cross functional team to ensure optimal performance and consistent delivery against priorities and timelines
Partner with the Technology Team to design and deliver data products that brings together essential data categories to enable the Finance function to support their analytical and reporting needs
Work with IT to migrate to production the developed solutions and as an SME/escalation point for the deployed solutions
Work closely with end-users/IT during the UAT phase of the project and validate that production results comply with business requirements and expected results
Provide a high level of responsiveness to ad-hoc requests, "what-if" scenario data analytics, and regulatory inquiries
Become a subject matter expert in our financial reporting platforms and support team members in becoming more proficient themselves
