The role will support treasury, accounting, tax, and valuation reporting activities across General Partner entities and work closely with professionals across the firm.

Finance Associate – Global Private Equity Firm | $80K–$85K Base | Hybrid
Location: Boston, MA
We are partnering with a leading alternative asset management firm seeking a Finance Associate to join its GP Accounting team.

The role will support treasury, accounting, tax, and valuation reporting activities across General Partner entities and work closely with professionals across the firm.

Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day operations of partnership entities, including cash management, capital calls, distributions, reconciliations, and banking activities
• Prepare cash, book, and tax journal entries within Investran
• Assist with carry calculations, vesting schedules, and partner profit/loss allocations
• Support quarterly and annual fair market value reporting and capital account reconciliations
• Assist with quarterly tax estimates and annual tax reporting requirements
• Generate reports related to fair market value, tax basis activity, and partnership investments
• Respond to investor requests and reporting inquiries
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, tax, and investment teams on transaction activity and reporting requirements
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–2 years of accounting experience
• Financial services, partnership accounting, fund accounting, or public accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
