Thursday, July 23, 2026 Remote United States Full-time Maximus is looking for a remote Finance & Accounting Associate Analyst to support key financial operations and reporting activities for the business.
This role is responsible for assisting with financial reporting, forecasting, billing, reconciliations, expense tracking, and month-end finance processes while partnering with Corporate Finance, Project Management, and other cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and comfortable working with financial data in a deadline-driven environment.
California State residency is required for this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for producing accurate project financial reporting and submit on a monthly basis to Corporate Finance. - Track financial status by monitoring variances from forecasts. - Organize monthly Finance Calendar activities. - Prepare monthly accruals for submission to corporate finance. - Review time sheet corrections for accuracy and submit to Corporate Finance for approval and processing. - Monitor fulfillment expenses against forecast assumptions. - Review incoming vendor invoices for accuracy, and provide appropriate codes and monitor payment status. - Perform research and provide additional clarifications. - Publish monthly Project Financial Dashboard and Labor Reports to Project Management.
