With a warehouse located in one of the largest cities in the US, our used bourbon barrels are ready to ship. We work with customers from the US, Europe, Asia, and elsewhere, providing high-quality barrels for distilling a variety of liquors and spirits.
Are you a hard worker who takes pride in quality? We’re looking for a motivated Final Inspector to join our production team. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of quality control by physically lifting and inspecting finished barrels, then efficiently 4-packing them for shipment. If you like staying busy, working with your hands, and being part of a team that keeps things moving, this job is for you. An added bonus, the more you accurately inspect, the more money you make. $27-29 for a skilled and efficient inspector isn't uncommon.
Starting Wage: $21 - This includes $2 attendance bonus.
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities
Lift barrels onto inspection stands and perform quality checks on each unit
Inspect for defects in seams, hoops, heads, and overall integrity
Reject and tag non-conforming barrels for rework or disposition
4-pack approved barrels onto the shipping platform quickly and accurately
Re-label barrels to indicate inspection completed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE at all times
Occasionally perform other tasks and duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Detail-oriented — you catch problems others might miss
Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus
Able to lift/roll heavy barrels repeatedly throughout a full shift
Comfortable standing, bending, and working at a fast pace for 8–10 hours
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Physical Requirements
Comfortable working in a loud, active production environment with hearing protection provided
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (75+ lbs)
Standing, bending, kneeling, and walking for extended periods
Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
