About the Role
We are seeking passionate Volunteer Film Journalists to contribute engaging, insightful, and well-researched content covering films, television, and the entertainment industry. This role is ideal for aspiring writers, critics, bloggers, or media students looking to build their portfolio and gain real-world publishing experience.
You will pitch ideas, write reviews and feature articles, and collaborate with our editorial team to produce compelling film-related content.
Key Responsibilities
- Write film reviews, opinion pieces, and feature articles
- Cover film festivals, industry news, and streaming releases
- Conduct interviews with filmmakers, actors, or industry professionals (when applicable)
- Research trends in cinema and entertainment
- Edit and revise content based on editorial feedback
- Meet agreed deadlines and maintain consistent contribution
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Passion for cinema and media analysis
- Familiarity with different film genres, movements, and global cinema
- Basic understanding of film theory and criticism
- Ability to research and fact-check information
- Prior blogging, journalism, or editorial experience (a plus but not required)
