Need AT&T Field Techs for SoCal with AT&T UID or Ericsson/AT&T experience with AT&T Field Tech ID

Title: Field Engineer

Pay Rate: $20/hr W2 plus $22/hr per diem: Total: $42/hr

Overtime: $40/hr W2

Double-time: $40/hr W2

No Mileage Paid Instead all Drive-time is paid at $40/hr W2 rate.

NOTE: Cannot work more than 10 hours a day / night on each site in CA

Duration: 1 Year

Looking for Field Engineers for Ericsson Baseband Swap projects in CA (both NorCal and SoCal). The ideal candidate will have direct, hands-on experience performing baseband replacements, integrations, and validation testing on Ericsson Verizon or AT&T / or both.

This is a project-based ideal for self-sufficient technicians with their own tools, vehicle, and flexibility to travel regionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform baseband swap-outs and upgrades (from 6651s to 6672s).

Validate site connectivity, alarms, and configurations post-swap.

Execute integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure network stability.

Complete site documentation and photo closeouts.

Coordinate with remote integration teams and field leads.

Follow all safety, quality, and customer compliance procedures.

Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on experience with Ericsson/Verizon wireless or AT&T s infrastructure.

Expertise in baseband installation and integration (5216, 6630, 6648, 6651, 6672)

Understanding of RBS, DU/RU, CPRI, and fiber connectivity.

Must have own tools, laptop, and reliable vehicle.
