Title: Field Technician
Location: White Sands Missile Range, NM 88002
Payrate: $26.35/hr. on W2
Visa: US Citizens
Duration: 06 Months Contract with potential Extension
Shift: 4/10 1st Shift 6:00 AM - 4:45 PM
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
- Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
- Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
- Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
- May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
- This position will be supporting all Products produced by MFC including PAC3, GMLRS, PrSM, ATACMS.
Basic Skills:
- High School Diploma (BS not required)
- Technician with previous hands-on experience
- Previous experience with Mechanical Assembly in Aerospace systems
- Previous experience with Electrical Test Equipment
- Experience working with Standard Procedures
- Experience with Critical Test Equipment (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Experience with Explosives a plus In this position the candidate selected will be exposed to and handling explosives.
- Safety shoes are required for this position.
